“A stress free and relaxing get away for a couple days to re-charge and breathe in some ocean air with my family for thanksgiving is all I can ask for and it was perfect in this beach cottage! My family and I did NOT want to leave!”

“Cosy casita that leaves nothing to be desired. Great furnishings, everything in the kitchen too. The lack of air conditioning was not a problem even in July, as it was not so hot and ceiling fans provided a pleasant room climate. There are fly screens in front of almost all the windows. The shared use of the washing machine, the USB socket and the garage parking space were a great plus. The location was quiet and yet there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. “A friend and I spent a week in San Diego. The Avocado Hut was perfect. We loved that it has two bedrooms and a living room and kitchen area. The private outdoor space was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay! I would definitely stay at the Avocado Hut any time I visit San Diego!”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay but a few things made the trip feel a bit less than. The biggest upset was our discovery of many, many dust mites on our main bedroom tables. That means curtains, bed sheets, etc are not being washed, dusted and / or vacuumed properly. After seeing the cleaning lady go into the studio cottage next door and leave within an hour without washing linens or doing any major cleaning explained our cottages condition (which is owned by the same person / company). “This is a nice little beach house in a quiet neighborhood. It is comfortable and conveniently located near Mission Bay and the beach. It was great for our girls week at the beach. The biggest plus is having the parking space right behind the unit. This is a typical beach community where parking can be difficult. The kitchen is adequately supplied including dishes for children. Spices are very limited so bring your own. We used mostly premade meals. The appliances were a little difficult to……

“Great little condo just a couple of blocks from Old Town. Perfect and priced right.”

“This is a great place to stay. Very clean, beds were super comfortable, plenty of pillows, A/C, lots of pots and pans to cook with, and the couch was comfortable as well. The outside shower is a must to get all the sand of you and your kids. Two bathrooms was a nice plus. The only thing missing is access to a washer and dryer which was not in the listing but would have been super nice. ”

“Ceilings and doorways very low. Hit my head 7 times on the doorways. And walked around in the house hunched over the whole time due to the possibility of hitting my head. Back was aching by the time we checked out. Would not stay there again.”
