This is located in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the peaceful Albert Park in San Rafael. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff are very kind. It is a great place to take the time to rest and relax on a long trip.

It is a nice old style Hotel in San Rafael. It has a nice restaurant. It is walking distance to a convenience store and other restaurants downtown. The rooms were very well maintained. There is a nice balcony you can see the city. It is like an old house.

For $108 a night this is a bad deal. The room has no bathroom. The walls are essentially a house not a place set up to be a hotel in any professional way are very thin . I had to listen to a guy snore all night in the room next to me. When walking to the bathroom another guy had his door open all night showing himself half dressed on his bed. Stay away from this dump.

This is such a pleasant place to stay. The only reason I didn’t give it a higher mark is that I think the bed could be more comfortable. And with all our electronic devices, we need more convenient outlets to charge them. Still, I love the laid back atmosphere, the charming neighborhood, the excellent bakery right next door, and the closeness to restaurants.

This is like luxury hostel lodging - shared bathrooms and kitchen … the price is fantastic … my tv got 1 channel and thankfully it was HGTV! Very narrow and steep stairs - coffee every morning (probably after 8am) and a lovely balcony!

This is my go-to hotel when I'm in San Rafael. They are renovating the rooms and the common areas and bringing back the bar, which will be so cool. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathrooms are clean, wifi is strong, staff is great. There's a lovely bakery next door that I recommend as well.
