I like the location of the hotel. I have stayed here in the past with no complaints, but I observed some problems this time: bed was poor (was woken up by a backache); bathroom sink has a faulty valve - you get cold water for a long time, then finally hot water comes in, then it goes back to cold. Or it starts hot, then immediately switches to cold. Very strange!
Microwave of course didn't work. We pulled it out of the cabinet, unplugged it, then plugged it back in, and that was enough to reset the computer. So why doesn't the housekeeping staff notice things like this?
None of the usual supplies provided in the bath area - moisturizing lotion, shower cap, etc. There was soap, I'm happy to say. Towels in short supply and were not resupplied on the second day. I never saw a housekeeping cart, so I didn't have an opportunity to ask for another towel.
Last item: I liked the breakfast provisions except that there was very little fruit. After all, this is San Diego - one of the agricultural capitals of the US. No oranges!
