The area is known for its nightlife, which includes a lively mix of bars, clubs, and cocktail lounges. The vibrant local dining scene includes everything from chain restaurants to quaint bistros, with any number of international cuisines represented. Other neighborhood highlights include the Balboa Theater, a wonderful place to take in a performance, and Horton Plaza Park, where you can stretch out on the grassy lawn and watch the world go by.
