“This location was a last minute find. We had driven up from Amalfi, we were early. Found the place easily, walked in to see if we could check in early. The first thing, we were offered a coffee by two of most lovely ladies. They took care of us, gave us direction to the Ruins. What a wonderful fine. “Cinzia and Gregorio were amazing hosts and the location was perfect. There were quite a few steps, but hard to avoid if you are staying on the Amalfi coast. Conca dei Marini was the perfect base to see all of the area. It was a quaint little town where we got know all of local business owners and they treated us like family. It was also easy to get to all of the coastal towns once you became familiar with the Sita bus. Or take the bus to Amalfi and catch the ferry to other towns or Capri or……

“Wonderful place except for all the stairs. Arrive from the top street vs the bottom and during daylight. We had quite a time finding the place with the public bus but thanks to the wonderful people of Italy all went well. The restaurant nearby was excellent and the cafe offered beverages and snacks . They were communicative and accommodating to our unexpected travel delays. “The house is big and beautiful with a great view. Fun in the yard and the jacuzzi is wonderful. The landlady is not nice. They surprised us with an extra 300 euros for cleaning. There is a leak in the bathtub and the water does not drain either. All kinds of little things in the kitchen too. “Wonderful stay with breathtaking views. Lovely older traditional villa with everything we needed. Just a little problem with the wi-fi but the area was down so not anyones fault. Even the stairs were not a problem, made us a a little fitter. Maria the villa manager was absolutely amazing with checkin and any enquiries we had. Thank you Maria. You made the experience better. We were also lucky to be there for the San Gennaro Festival which was special to see. :)”
