The 1st room was absolutely filthy/gross. Blood stains on the floor had come back up after they cleaned it & it was a large amount. Thats all you could smell was blood. The walls were dirty, tables and appliances abused and beaten up. There was pee on the toilet seat when we arrived.
We were able to change rooms & the 2nd room was polar opposite. Clean, remodeled, new appliances, bright & comfy.
Unfortunately, people were knocking on our window throughout our stay & no matter the time, there were people hanging around the vehicles outside.
My main complaint is they refuse to refund my $60 deposit. I've been a maid before, the room was cleaned before we checked out & neither of us smoke, so there is no reason they should keep the deposit. I've had Expedia check on it several times & there's always a different excuse. Its been months now & still no refund.
Pay attention to the reciept, it states you must get your refund during checkout or you forfeit. We were told by the clerk though that it would be refunded back to our account within 20 days. I didn't think they were lying about actually doing it. The bank says they've never attempted to refund anything.
The hotel says to contact the front desk but that hasnt done any good. Just excuses.
