Modern 3 Bedroom in Monterey County

3 bedroom home, with 2 queens and a king bed, 2 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a kitchen, dining room, exterior deck and a garden in front of the home. Ideal for families of 6 looking to stay in a modern home that has all the essentials for a comfortable stay and is located 20-25 mins to Monterey, 30 mins to Santa Cruz and 10 mins to Salinas.

The Space
The property has trees and vegetation has a deck to barbecue or just hang out. The rooms have plenty of closet space for short or long stays with plenty of privacy.

Guest access
The property has easy access to the Highway. The house has a large 2 car garage to park your vehicles securely.

Other things to note
If you like seafood there's Phil's Fish Market in Moss Landing, great place. If you need groceries there is a Safeway at the Vierra Canyon exit, a resourceful shipping center with pizza and other eateries. Cannery Row in Monterey is a 15 min drive south and Santa Cruz is around 20 mins north for your convenience.

Great place to start exploring the coast from.
We went to Monterey from here, about a 25 minute drive. The house has comfortable beds and a great soaking tub in the master bath. 2 living rooms, so people can do as they want. There is a weber grill out back to BBQ (bring briquettes). Do note, it is a steep driveway. But very secluded, you can see roof tops, but not windows of any neighbors. Owner was great at communication, and worked with us on any needs!

We walked and walked out
We were appalled at the misrepresentation of the house, the cleanness of the house, the property manager said she’d contact me 3 days before. She didn’t. When I contacted about directions she gave us the wrong directions. The deck was filthy, the chairs on the deck were filthy. The listing said nothing about being up top of a steep dirt road. The shower was filthy. There was a garbage can next to the shower that had something on it. The toilet brush had dust on it. It looked like they probably weren’t washed. My husband said find a hotel. We are out of here. We didn’t even sit down. I immediately messaged the host about getting a refund. She said no and I said I want my cleaning deposit back. We were in the area for my granddaughter’s graduation from CSU Monterey Bay. We ended up having to pay over 1100.00 to spend one night. Very disappointed. Becky

We had a very nice stay . I only problem we had was probably because a little slowness in communication from the host no doubt caused by the fact she was undergoing a surgery during the time of our stay .But we really enjoyed the place . Very cozy 😊

Pros- owner is responsive, but lot of Cons for us
Pros- the property owner was responsive. The 2 queen beds were comfortable.Cons-inside the home has a strong chemically cleaning perfume fragrance(probably because it is pet friendly)scary exit off Hwy 101-you turn right off the hwy onto the road at almost a 90degree turn,multiple areas in the house & garage with weird steps & no handrails, critters of some kind scratching & scurrying around in the attic space, no window screens in the queen bedrooms, duvets & sheets had obvious pet hair on them-maybe clean & hair just stuck to them. Probably an ok place if you are traveling with pets. Don’t recommend for anyone else especially if you have little kids because of the steps inside the house. This house is located in Prunedale so about 30 minutes from Monterey give or take.
