The property is absolutely beautiful with tons of orchids everywhere. Rooms where comfortable and was great to have a hammock on the terrace. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We took the coffee/horseback riding tour and it was great! The sauna and hot tubs were amazing, we got to use them every night. Every night there’s a fire pit very nice to hang out in. The massages were great and the massage therapist was excellent. My only suggestion would be to add a door to the spa and more vegetation at the top for added privacy.

A beautiful boutique hotel. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, huge comfortable bed, loved having a hot tub and sauna on site (free to use) and I enjoyed a very relaxing massage by the hotel masseur also. Views from the terrace are amazing and we loved having a drink and our breakfast up there. Good choices for breakfast, plenty of fruit and bread and the most delicious guava juice too! No restaurant on site but less than 10 minute walk to Salento main square. I only wish we could have stayed longer at Terasu!

Lovely hotel, great service
Very nice clean hotel with excellent service. Hotel is on the main road and the noise is very loud so not great for light sleepers. Breakfast is good but not amazing as suggested in some reviews, bit annoying there isn’t enough tables which often leads to a wait for breakfast. Only a short 10 minute walk away from the main square

PROs- Beautiful small hotel, great VIEWS, nature, delicious breakfast, terrace/patio options to eat ( beautiful) quiet around the area, great customer service, clean, amenities , sauna, jacuzzi options, balcony with hammock always a plus! Mini fridge inside ( beverages not included) Close to the town, variety of places to eat around the area , family friendly hotel, safe around the area, lots of foreigners in the hotel (im Colombian, so it made me happy to see people from other countries visiting our beautiful country :) Beautiful weather,hot during the day chilly at night CONs- when i booked this hotel no one mention in the reviews that this hotel is right across of a cemetery ( nervous laugh haha) I freaked out a little but its not that serious i guess. The Water was shut down i believe after 9pm and didn’t come back until morning ( also not a big deal, i just feel like they should notify guests. I brushed my teeth with a water bottle they offered in the room. I had showered before too so that was ok ! Water coming back early morning made some loud and strange sounds so it scared me a little bit haha . I brought a car , parking space is not inside the hotel and it only has like 2 spots available in front of the hotel (to keep in mind)Mosquitoes everywhere so be prepared to bring your bug repellent! They left me so many love bites haha! Overall - I would deff come back and spend more time here . We only stayed for 1 night. Nature views and breakfast 10/10 ❤️

The hotel area is very beautiful, but the room we stayed in wasn’t the greatest. The hot tub was cold and we couldn’t use it. Plus we could hear all the kitchen noise at 6 am. Unfortunately they wouldn’t change the room. I liked the hotel facilities and sauna, staff was friendly too, but the room was disappointing

Wunderbares Hotel, einzigartiger Service!
Unser Aufenthalt war ein Highlight unserer Kolumbienreise! Der Ort selbst und das Hotel sind wunderchön. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig, mit schönem Balkon, das Frühstück köstlich. Die Mitarbeitenden sind einfach grossartig! Die Airline hatte meinen Koffer verschlampt, und-Luiz ruhte nicht, bis wir ihn zurück bekamen! Don Orlando servierte spät abends köstlichen Tee. Gracias para todo!

One of the nicer places to stay in town
Boutique hotel if just 9 rooms. Constructed mainly from wood in a garden setting. Rooms are simple in design but comfortable. Good bed and walk in shower. Not much furniture - could do with a desk or similiar. Nice balcony/terrace with chairs, hammock and mountain view - top floor rooms are best. Very friendly, helpful staff. Owner is Colombian but lived in UK for long period. Good breakfast. Sauna and jacuzzi on site. Massage can be arranged, along with any tours or activities. Nice, quiet spot on edge of town but only 10 mins to walk in. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place to stay. Everyone was super helpful and lovely. Breakfasts were delicious. Everything was great. Maybe ceiling fans might be a good idea for the hotter weather.

Solento is a beautiful town and the property is located just outside of the main part. We felt very safe walking into town and to several places close by. Luis was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great. Highly recommend Bumi restaurant which is close by and the tour of Kasaguadua nature reserve (also close by). I would suggest a room on the 2nd floor if in the building closest to the road. There is not a lot of sound proofing in the rooms, but a minor thing in an overall wonderful stay.
