“The house was perfect for a large group! We used it for our wedding party and the house was awesome. Had everything we could have needed. Katie was an awesome host and is very responsive! Would 1000% recommend!!!”

“We rented the cottage property because it was close to family. Both the kitchen and bathroom has been update- we did not do any cooking during our stay so can’t comment on that area. But we really appreciate the instant hot water in the bathroom. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom which was comfy with lots of closet space and room. ”

“Very cute ranch in a lovely neighborhood. Good location for access to area sites like Hammonasset Beach, Chamard Vineyard, and the Water's Edge. Not truly a "water's view", but the house had all the amenities needed for a fun stay! ”

“We loved our trip. The cottage is beautifully done and the views incredible. We appreciated the hospitality extended by our host (and Nico the dog!) and enjoyed exploring the nearby woodland. Our kids are already asking if we can go back and visit again. ”

Great, private backyard well appointed with portable fire pit, grill, furniture. Lots of kid games and books and puzzles in house. Need functional carbon monoxide detector. ”

“This was a great spot to stay with my wife, another couple, and my dog! The house is small - especially downstairs. But it is extremely well thought out and space is used as effectively as can be. Upstairs had 2 good sized bedrooms with king beds and a nicely renovated bathroom with a great shower. The house is located in a small, cute, and a bit of an unusual neighborhood. Very quiet. Very safe feel. But not too good for much dog walking and parking is super tight. Owner was very good with……

“We loved this spot! It felt like our home away from home during our time in Mystic. The property is very close to many of the tourist spots as well as downtown Mystic. Shaun was a wonderful host and the place was clean & comfortable. The only thing I would point out is that the bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom. Not a problem for me because I was traveling with my sister so there was no awkwardness going through the bedroom to access it but may be something to consider for some……

“Stayed here for a weekend at Mystic with my parents who are older. Lots of steps from the street so bear in mind. Claude was very kind when I called him with questions and the water and fruit on the kitchen table was a nice touch. Neighborhood is a bit loud from front bedroom but beds were oh so cozy and again, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!”

“We all liove the various Connecticut shore towns, and Ild Lyme was delightful. We revisited some favorite spots, and discovered a few new ones. The vintage appliances were particularly nice to find, and looking at old photos, we realized that the original cottage was really 100 years old!”
