What a wonderful hotel, lovely setting, all of the staff were excellent ,professional, friendly and the hotel had a lovely homely feel, would recommend to anyone . The only thing l can say being slightly negative is that the spa in the pool area felt very dated ,and the decor in places throughout the hotel could do with revamping!! Wonderful stay 😊

Our room had a very ugly view over the bins and kitchen extractor fans. This created a loud hum until around 10pm and also brought some cooking smells into the room. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the room next door very clearly. However, after midnight the noise died down and it was quiet. The hotel is in a nice, very rural location.

Lovely hotel great good in the restaurant. Had to wait ages for our dessert I think they forgot. Nothing around nearest pub is a good 20 minute walk away. Nice gardens to sit in and have a drink at the hotel. Dog friendly too

Overall the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well presented but the ceiling coving needs reducing above the bed and the corridor could be cleaned and decorated. Breakfast was excellent with good service. We didn't use the spa but looked clean and presentable l.

We stayed 2 nights. Perfectly adecuate to stay and spend your day in the lovely villages nearby. The aetting was very pretty. The room was spaceous but hot (despute having a fan) and not very aound proof (it was a dog next door that kept us awake one of the nights), it also didn't have plug sockets next to the bed and the water pressure of the shower was low. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. For the price, you would probably expect a bit more but overal it was ok.

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff made us feel welcome and well looked after. There was a good choice of food for both breakfast and dinner, cooked to a high standard. Our room was spacious and clean, offering plenty of comfort throughout our stay. The only downside was that some of the furniture felt a little tired and could benefit from an update, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Overall, a pleasant stay with great service and good amenities — We’d happily return.

Clean room. Twin beds. Shower over the bath that was tricky to switch off as you had to relieve the water pressure by turning the bath taps on in order to switch the shower off! Set off early so was unable to stay for breakfast.
