“Hotel is lovely, but the room (mainly bathroom) was old and tired. I landed up in the disabled room which all the rail, shower seat etc were all rusty and could have done with replacing. Otherwise lovely hotel, pub and restaurant. Will stay there again ”

“Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,……

“I was really impressed by this hotel during our stay. We was welcomed by the host Suresh who was very friendly, pleasant, helpful, accommodating and approachable. The room was a good size twin room with en-suite shower, TV, dressing table. Facility to make tea, coffee available in room and toiletries for washing in bathroom. The hotel was very clean and easy to locate. The lounge and bar downstairs was warm, well presented and had a bar. Pool table and further seating available in dining……

“Good cheap hotel. A bit tired looking in places but clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking, good WiFi, usual tea/coffee/ biscuits which were topped up every day, friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom with a walk in shower which I much prefer to a bath. The only issue for me was there was no desk/table to work at but laptops are called laptops for a reason! Room was cleaned and bed made up for me every day which a lot of hotels don’t do these days.”

“Amazing room warm and cosy spacious matteress was a little soft for me but only a little thing on the overall stay . Lovely and quiet great tea tray and shower gels handwashes etc of a great quality (john lewis) , brilliant wifi and free and good freeview tv with good signal... overall great country cottage feel. Loved it will defo stay again”

“Firstly, i paid Over the phone and upon arrival i was Told that the old management took my payment and that i had To pay another £90. They said they would send me a email explaining what had happened however i have Never received this. Secondly my 15 year old brother lifted his mattress as we could smell something and it smelt like sewage. It got to 2 in the morning and the room next to us were partying all night. There were stains on the walls, stains on the carpets the rooms smelt like damp……
