“Nice cozy old house. We enjoyed the charm of the home. Kids enjoyed the air hockey table. Wished the weather was better to enjoy the fire pit. Only concern was the upstairs hallway floor is really squeaky. Makes it hard to move around at night without waking someone. ”

“Our family had a perfect week. Everything in the house is excellent quality construction, very impressive to accomplish on a island with limited resources. The property is very large, impressive, peaceful, beautiful, among other flattering adjectives. The views from the house are honestly one of a kind. We had 8 adults and 5 kids for the week and we were very comfortable. Definitely recommend.”

“Everything at the house was wonderful- except for the size of the beds! As there were five adults in our group, a full size bed was not the most comfortable fit! Besides that, we were all happy with the house and its location- walking distance to downtown St Ignace and hours drive to many other wonderful locations. We would definitely stay there again!”

“Our first experience booking anything like this online and we were impressed! When the host says the home is well stocked, you can trust that to be true. Tin foil and coffee??? Re-usable Ice Blocks in the freezer for our day cooler??? Each cupboard and drawer had a little tag saying what was inside, so no searching it was awesome! And the décor…If you love the outdoors, hunting and fishing, there are multiple mountings, with stories of how they were obtained. We spent time just looking……

I had sent her a message a week before asking if there was a coffee pot or Keurig to bring pods but never got a reply. “This beauty is still a treasure 2 years after our last stay. Kathy is attentive and responds quickly. The cabin is well maintained, full of high quality features and accessories and is a most delightful place! We really enjoyed the comfy beds & furniture, morning coffee on the porch, the fire pit, and the convenient parking. Having a fullsize fridge and stocked kitchen came in handy too. Don't miss the Douglas Lake Bar (more restaurant than bar) or Legs Inn- both have great food and staff!!……
