“This is the perfect place for a quiet fall getaway for a couple or small family. There is absolutely NOTHING around (exactly what we wanted), so be prepared to BRING ALL FOOD with you!! There are no local stores within 20 minutes. The house itself is quaint and eclectic. The hot tub was great and we used the fire pit on our crisp evenings.(plenty of firewood provided) The river was barely seen through the trees, but we took a stroll of the property and found the water down below. “My wife Teresa and I have been staying here for 11 years now. Every year for the last eleven years we have stayed the last week of Oct. The view is incredible. It never gets old. Something else that is very important to my wife and I is that the foyer door is only about 15 feet from the parking lot and its a flat walkway. Also, once in the foyer, its literally 2 steps to the stairs which are only 9 stairs. Most condos at Wintergreen are a hike just getting to the front door of the unit. Not……

“The property was very nice and clean. It was convenient to my other family members that were staying in the area. I was a little disappointed that some of the staple items(coffee, cream spices) were way out of date by as much as 2 years. When traveling , you don’t normally take these items with you. We had no tv service in the living room area. I called on Saturday morning and the manager on site said they would have to contact the owners. Had no return call or service. All weekend without TV. ”
