Designed by renowned modernist architect Bert Read, this elegant cedar home is nestled in bushland and a 200 metre flat walk to the beach. The house has an abundance of natural light with walls of glass, timber interior with vaulted ceilings and wrap-around ironbark deck made to soak up the sunshine while looking out over Saltwater Creek right at your back door.
The home features two large bedrooms both with ensuites, plus two more single beds on a mezzanine and access to another separate bathroom, accommodating up to six to sleep comfortably. It has underfloor heating/cooling, ceiling fans and a central brick fireplace. There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen and weber BBQ for entertaining. Full linen service is also provided for your convenience.
Plenty of places to relax - laze in the hammocks on the back deck or in the giant beanbag watching native birdlife, spend time unwinding in the main loungeroom or head up the beautiful timber spiral staircase to chill out on the mezzanine living area.
Rosedale beach is secluded and dog friendly. There are wonderful coastal and bush walks in the area and when you get back from the beach, the house has two hot/cold outdoor showers to wash away sand and saltwater. The NSW South Coast has stunning beaches, delicious fresh seafood, laid-back coastal vibes and world-famous surf breaks - the perfect place to unplug from busy lives and reconnect with nature.
