“Rating should be 3.5 stars. 4 adult middle aged males stayed at this Ferndale apartment. We spent the weekend at the Detroit curling club and only slept here. So It meant our needs. When we arrived there was no power to the back bedrooms and 4 or 5 space heaters were spread around the apartment. So clearly a regular furnace was not working. After 10 mins of exploring. We figured out the back bedroom space heater was tripping out power to bedrooms. That was annoying. I view a vrbo rental……

“We were in town for a funeral and the location was perfect. The only negative was the stairs.”

“Great stay nice clean and quiet with peaceful view. Only gripe is no elevator!!! Going up 5 flights isn’t cool! Thinking about ppl living there with no elevator and taking the stairs. Otd he’s great!!!!! Tell them to fix the elevator‼”

“Stayed at this property for a family event in Detroit. Excellent property with great access to Ford Field and Comerica Park. Host was very attentive to questions and insuring we had an excellent time. Would recommend this property for a large group stay in Motown!!!!! Jim B”

“This place was terrible. Should never have been listed. Ceilings dirty, previously wet and sagging. Carpet ripped and FILTHY. Horrible patchwork pink paint covering dirt and graffiti in the hallway. Host never responded with entry information. It was all bad. Vrbo did set me up in a hotel for 3 of my 5 nights then I had to find lodging for the rest of my stay Awaiting my refund for that.”

“Newly renovated was the only positive. Wasn’t upfront about the plugged toilet and tried to mask the smell by locking the door and putting bleach in the bottom of the dishwasher and Lysol. Was promised 2 bathrooms and 4 adults from different families had to use one. A charge of garbage disposal for $50 We were from a different country - where is the garbage going to go. Back to Canada 🇨🇦”

“This is a nicely furnished 1 bedroom 1 and 1/2 half bath condo with walking access to the downtown shops and restaurants. Plenty of extra linens and a nice washer/dryer. Kitchen is spacious with lots of seating. Very convenient and comfortable place to stay. We would definitely stay again.”

“overall the room was nice and fitted our needs. the downside was that upon arrival i noticed the trash in the washroom was not cleaned out and the duvet cover was stained with a white substance. since it was late when i arrived i had to sleep in a bed with dirty sheets and no duvet. they were quick to respond and attempt to fix this. however the cleaner only dropped off a plastic bad of bedding. no duvet cover and the trash was not cleaned out. eventually after lots of back and first with……

"The front desk staff on the night shift on July 12 was a lady. Although I don't know her name, she was very enthusiastic and helpful, and her attitude was great! The hotel environment is also good, clean and tidy, and relatively quiet! No bugs were found, because I have stayed in hotels near the airport before, and although the hygiene is great, I found bed bugs in other hotels! Breakfast arrived at 8:50, and there was only coffee and milk! It may be because I went there late! Overall, it is acceptable!"
