“A lovely week - it just went too darned fast! Kay provides a comfortable, generously stocked home. The beds were some of the best we've encountered. The house is convenient to the mountains, waterfalls and swimming holes, as well as grocery stores and ice cream spots (a MUST for any Maine vacation!). ”

“The view was amazing. The cabin tho was nothing like expected. It's currently being renovated, but the walls are nothing but installation, the flooring isn't finished at all. There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. Overall the view is great but the place definitely needs a lot. ”

“The renter is not worth coming about the fact that her home is on a very steep hill. I told her I was a senior and had foot and ankle and knee surgeries and had a hard time walking. I saved up to rent a place all year. When I got there I had to call her to find out how to get to the lake. It is so steep I couldn't find an entrance to the lake, I finally found a foot wide muddy, slippery path which was 90 degrees straight up and down. I only took a few steps and realized I would break my neck if……

“Very secluded location, practically no noise from homes in the area. Note: Public beach next door was closed due to lake algae bloom, so may have been more noise if the beach was being used.”

“What a great experience, we traveled through Maine and this was our favorite stop. Kent is kind and fabulous. Beds were great, the remote living was a dream. We chose to canoe in and that was the right call! Our stuff arrived on a boat. We saw lots of birds turtles and a bald eagle! It was awesome.”

“We had two adults, two teens and one very active dog. Guess who was NOT thrilled with the no-plumbing no-electricity situation?!? But that’s the point- reconnect with nature and slow down. We even got them off their phones for a while. (Although internet is strong! Totally remote workable) The island is beautiful and serene and clean. “Great size, very clean. The posted pictures do not do this camp justice! Lots of upgrades and Beth is very responsive. Beautiful cove with little traffic. Sounds of loons day and night. Great bass fishing too! There is a wonderful dock but be sure to bring your own water toys. Great place for children with neighbors that encourage lots of kid play, exploring/adventuring, and boisterous fun.”
