Outdoor area was a little disappointing in that the back deck was in a state of disrepair with broken, rotted wood on lower back deck. Also several broken boards and a hole in one area of the deck. One broken jagged board on picnic table. It was dangerous. Deck itself felt spongy and unstable. We did not spend much time out there and I reported all of this to property……

“This was a wonderful property! It has been updated and well-maintained. The view is lovely, great for watching the sunrise on the deck. It was a quick 6-minute drive to Fat Bully’s restaurant and about 15-20 minutes to get to town and the Chickasaw Recreation Area. Overall, the property was very clean and tidy, only some of the dishes seemed like they needed to be more thoroughly cleaned. Be careful on the indoor stairs. They are very narrow, and one of us slipped. Overall, we loved this……

The house was very clean, the views from the porch are awesome and the property is nice and secluded so if you bring UTV's like we did you don't have to worry about anybody messing with them at night. about a 5 minute ride on the UTV from the driveway to the gate of Cross Bar.”

“We really enjoyed staying here! The house was homey and comfortable. You can tell they’ve recently renovated the inside and the views outside were beautiful! There’s a very large den that would perfect for some blow up mattresses if you have a larger group. Definitely recommend visiting the Chickasaw National Recreation Area which is only minutes from the house! Also Turner Falls was gorgeous and only about 20 minutes away.”
