“Lovely home. Gorgeous views. And, a pool! Unfortunately carpet in LR was grossly stained & remnants of prev guest were present. The pool area could use swept& weeds/overgrowth killed/trimmed back. Dryer vent also needs cleaned out. Minor, but needs addressed. ”

“A couple cleanliness issues (dirty windows, dusty air vents) issues with amenities (none of the coffee pots worked properly and the direct tv stopped working on the first night) but nothing that ruined our stay. I loved the location so close to the ocean, but it’s already eroded a house next to it into the ocean. I’m worried how long there will be any beach left. The neighbor in the small house next to us was rude to anyone that came within 20’ of his property and yelled for them to leave. ”

“The home was beautiful and in a nice, quiet location. The walk to the beach was short and worth the walk. Definitely plan your meals and pack to where you don’t have to run out often as only a small market is nearby. We planned a few days to make the drive to north Outer Banks where there’s more activities as staying in Rodanthe is more for family time, beach time and relaxing, which is what we wanted to do. Our host was always very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. ”
