First impressions are everything. I've stayed at this hotel 3x already and this is the 1st time my visit left me second-guessing coming back. When I first got there to check in, rules changed, unknown to me was confusing. What was most confusing was the attitude from the desk worker. I don't know if he was having a bad morning or what, but he started off very cold. I followed the directions given, got a visa card to complete my reservation and he still was being difficult. Another desk worker stepped in to complete my reservation. I know things switch up at times but it's the way you communicate that makes the changes bearable. Every time I had to encounter this desk worker, I made sure to sound extra nice as if he was the customer, not me, to avoid conflict for both of us. So, my reservation was paid in full with the visa gift card. At the end of my 3-night stay, I dropped off my key at the front desk, Jennifer completed my checkout and offered to print a receipt. I said no because I know it'll be mailed to me. A hour later, I'm getting a call from the supervisor asking for my card information again! I didn't have the same visa card on me because it was used and thrown away after the hotel was paid for. I was not going to pay TWICE when I already paid in full to be able to check in. What happened? I was in the process of leaving Wilson and that left a bad taste in my mouth.
