Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this Rockaway Beach condo, a dog-friendly, oceanfront escape with two private balconies, sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean that reach all the way to Neahkahnie Mountain, and a pathway that leads directly to the beach below!

You'll find this condo on the second floor of Nedonna Views, a modern building that offers guests floor-to-ceiling views of the beach and the ocean from its position atop the dunes. The condo is mere steps from a tranquil, uncrowded stretch of beach, just across Highway 101 from the shores of Crescent Lake, and one mile north of downtown Rockaway Beach and its quaint shops and eateries. You'll also be half a mile south of Manhattan Beach State Park and an easy 14-mile drive north of the famed Tillamook Creamery.

Nice location and unit
Check in was easy, however, when we arrived,the unit clearly had not been cleaned. Mold in the showers, coffee and coffee grounds in the coffee pot, hair in the sheets, stained comforters and pillows cases, just very dirty and really gross. Called and had a housekeeper show up the next morning to clean and agreed the place was disgusting.she did s great job cleaning but it was very uncomfortable staying here the first night.

Weekend Getaway
First of all, we LOVE this location. You really can't beat how close it is to the beach and the perfect distance from downtown, so virtually zero traffic. We've stayed at this complex many times in multiple units, but this was the first time at this exact unit. This place has cute decor that is different from your standard beachy theme. Unfortunately, the building is really getting run down and not repaired. We first started staying at this complex about 10 years ago, and at that time, there was a new sign on the elevator that said "temporarily out of service. Being repaired." The same sign is there now but is rusted over. Never repaired. The hot tub used to work, but now is broken open and just a piece of junk on the property. These are not necessarily the unit's issue, but a property management one. However, we found multiple dirty dishes and utensils in the kitchen--ended up pre-washing everything before using them. Also, the curtains in the master bedroom had apparently broken or fallen off the wall and a replacement shower rod was jammed in the frame as a replacement. The holes and damage from the original curtains were still there, and the make-shift replacement blocked the patio door from opening and the two curtain pieces didn't even come close to covering the window/glass doors. I ended up using a hair clip to hold the curtains together. We absolutely LOVE this location but the disrepair has finally become too much. So sad.

Stay at Rockaway
We had 10 wonderful days at Rockaway Beach. The view from our unit was unbelievable through those huge windows! The beach was not crowded, even on the weekends. The unit was well stocked with cooking items. We walked right onto the beach from our unit. We had great Wi-Fi! The only downfall were the 5 flights of stairs we had to walk up to get to our unit, but the view was well worth it! We highly recommend Pelican Point to anyone!

Not all of the lamps functioned. The toilet paper holder and some other fixtures were not attached adequately. The ensuite bedroom drapes were really poor quality and the curtain rod is not attached to wall, so difficult to close

Weekend getaway
This property was easy to book and seemless from start to finish. We did find that the sheets and bedding had sand on them, but we realize it’s the beach and it was easily brushed off. Once we arrived we noted that the property came with beach chairs, bedding and bowls for our dog and a washer/dryer. We loved our time at the property and will definitely be coming back soon.

Wonderful Spot...Elevator not working...
Although the stay was great, and the unit perfect for our holiday, the unit is up three flights of stairs, as the elevator is indefinitely out of order. We did not pick this info up in the reservation process (in the fine print), and with my foot in a non-weight-bearing cast, this was a significant problem. I crawled up the stairs, and my wife lugged up all the luggage. Perhaps this info regarding the broken elevator should be more prominent in the booking process.

Great property but poor maintenance
Great property but maintenance was very disappointing. The master bedroom balcony door did not close and there was a severe leak in the roof in the living room. We wrote to the admin but they did not respond to us. The combo of severe wind and cold with a balcony door that did not close was very uncomfortable and cold for sleeping at night. The leak in the roof was severe enough that we had to put a bunch of towels under it to keep the water from running all over. I don’t mind minor maintenance items, no problem for us. We’re pretty low maintenance. But the severity of the items and inability of the staff to respond immediately was very disappointing to us.

All kitchen pots pans cooking stuff needed to be switched out for new couldn’t use any of it completely outdated. Great toaster oven and coffee pot is about all. No table for puzzles or family games had to use a stool for cards but couldn’t do any of the other things we wanted. For a week stay we should have had more than toilet paper and paper towels. And would have been nice to have tv (scratches) on front. Can watch if logged into all your accounts but no basic. Great view but lacking some basics

Fantastic Family Getaway
The condo was beautiful and clean. The views from the living room were phenomenal. Especially if it’s super windy, you don’t feel like you’re missing out because the view makes you feel like you’re right on the beach. The condo was a perfect location, just on the outskirts of town, so not as crowded. We loved the access to the beach and the surrounding beach area. It was not crowded and most of the weekend we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. My husband and daughter fish for perch and it was a great location for them. The town itself is very quaint and we loved it. The shops are so fun and the Big Tree walk is amazing. It was a perfect family getaway and we will be returning again to this location.

Great view and location to beach. Place needed a dining/game table. Elevator did not work so it was stair access only - 3rd floor. Good except use. Needed more night lights to avoid late night stumbling. Hot tub was a disappointment.
