"We only stayed for one night. The room was beautiful with direct access to a pool. The staff were exceptional and couldn’t do more to make sure you were comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were delicious. Wish we had stayed for another night."

"We spent a night at this lovely place on the outskirts of Montagu. There is a feeling of being out in the country, without actually being too far away from the very pretty town. The room is nicely furnished, very good bed. The views from the private patio are wonderful. Very good breakfast. Unfortunately we didn´t do the tour of the Botanical Products manufacturing, on site - where lovely organic beauty products are lovingly made. We hope to do that next time!"

"We had two nights at this lovely old guest house and were welcomed with a lovely cold glass of wine after a hot day on the road. Unfortunately we were not able to shower as there was no hot water pressure. `There was also a bad smell from the drains. This was a bit of a problem as the weather was extremely hot. I think it would be a good idea to install showers rather than only having an old victorian bath with a handheld shower attachment. The breakfast was very good. The location was ideal...

"This is a really lovely setting, with the rooms facing onto the property's vineyard setting. Everything is very comfortable and clean. The new owner Estelle is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and concerned that our visit was perfect. Her dinner recommendation (22 on Church) was one of the best meals we had in a 9-day trip to the Cape region of South Africa. "Very nice one night stay while travelling. Stayed in the garden room - very quiet and also has self-catering facilities. Short walk to several restaurants. We opted for a pizza nearby. Expedia shows breakfast included. This is an error - owner trying to resolve with agency. But breakfast is available at a small cost. Just ask Mike to show you his collection - stunning!"

"The property itself is so elegant and stylish with unimpeded views across to the mountains. The deck, pool and gardens are peaceful and full of beautiful sculptures. Our room, Room 4 was spacious, light and airy with a secluded private deck. A gorgeous place to stay within an easy walk to town with all its historic homes. But best of all were the delightful hosts, such warmth and so friendly and genuinely wanting to help in anyway and ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Great breakfast."
