「Staff and restaurant very nice, rooms are dated. We stayed in an Exec Room which we felt was on the small side, it didn't feel like an upgrade from a classic room. Tea/Coffee and water in the room is complimentary, everything else is chargable. Overall it was a very nice stay, once in the room I didnt get the luxury feel」

「This is a historic hotel inside the city walls in Chester. It was built in 1535. The lobby pub and restaurant were unique with great atmosphere. Elderly people will have great difficulty using the steep stairs to the 3rd level rooms, but we enjoyed this hotel greatly!!」
