“Very enjoyable stay, and would return. Good food options. Our stay coincided with an England football game that was very noisy in the adjacent conservatory. Though, I appreciate this not a common occurrence.”

“Lovely old pub with log burner in bar, friendly staff and locals, made very welcome. Stayed three nights in the four poster room, situated outside of main building but ideal for our two small dogs. Home cooked meals, very good and generous, good range of ales, most from adjoining brewery. Located in the countryside, highly recommended.”

“We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed……
