“Fabulous river frontage My husband tried unsuccessfully to land some fair sized trout. Cottage very comfortable with fireplace and heaters. Had Sabie trout in the restuarant which was excellent. Perfect base for visiting all the local sites and hikes. Will go back again. Staff discreet and efficient. Sadly, my offer to buy life rights to the cottage as a retirement home was rejected. Ah well….”

“We celebrated out 25th wedding anniversary at Sabie Star Chalets. The breathtaking surroundings had a tranquil atmosphere and made it extra special for us. The chalet was cosy and a treat to fall asleep with the river in the background. The chalet was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We liked the good quality white linen and towels provided. Sanitizer, soap, dish washing liquid, dish towel and hair dryer was provided. The braai area was neat with firewood. The owners……
