“It is well kept could use some updates but it is the best in the area. Great staff willing to do whatever you need. Was able to have my dog with me and they were super nice to him. However, the breakfast could use some work. I was able to also have a “mini” kitchen in my room as I was in an extended stay situation. With the inclusion of a fridge and microwave. Super accessible to where I needed to be. ”

“This place had an amazing staff. They were very friendly and genuinely seemed to care. The place is a tad out of date and seems to run on a budget, but the place seemed loved. Each of the rooms are decorated differently in little funky themes, but is well done. It looks like someone took a lot of thought and time to make it special. The breakfast was fine and our stay was good as well. It was a nice, clean roadside stay. ”

“If you need to stay in this area of MN, this motel is the BEST. Very comfortable, quiet, clean has mini fridge, microwave, internet, cable TV, and you can't beat the price.”

“We had a group of parents stay at the Big Bear Lake Home for parent weekend at CSB/SJU. We had an absolute blast. The accommodations were wonderful. Brett has used every inch of that place. There were so many fun nooks and crannys. He's thought of everything. It was fun to have a place to all gather. The location was great from both St Bens, and St Johns. Brett was very responsive to messages, a great host! Check in/Check out process was easy. Highly recommended! We are already……
