“House was clean and comfortable. Host provided some special welcome treats, and also accommodated a last-minute request to stay an extra night. Property was plenty big enough for 4 adults and a dog. Loved sitting on the back porch. Property is located off a very busy and noisy road, so the only suggestion I have is to put shades, blinds, and/or heavier curtains in the front bedroom to block out all the car lights and reduce the noise. Other than that, our stay was great!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. We went to Hershey Park, hiked some Appalachian trails, visiting family close by and even got to see a plane land and take off. Our dog even felt comfortable and at home here.”

“Richard and all of his family and staff helped coordinate things for months to allow my husband and I to have the best wedding! We had family and friends stay at the house with us and Richard allowed us to visit the property a few times before our stay to walk the property and allow our tent rental property to find the best spot for our tent. The grounds are well kept, the alpacas really are friendly, and the house was big enough to accommodate our needs. I would definitely recommend and come……

“We were there for my son’s wedding. 14 of us had plenty of room and beds. Absolutely the perfect location, walkable to the Kitchen Kettle Village and restaurants. We could sit on the porch and watch buggies go by. I would suggest leaving a bundle of firewood and matches. Took us 4 days to find any for sale. Will definitely be back!”

“This was a peaceful place to stay. I was in the area as my Dad was not well. This was perfect. It would be a wonderful spot for anyone that wants to experience the area. I highly recommend this location The homemade bread was yummy.”

“We stayed at this property for two nights while traveling on our summer vacation. The property was lovely with the flowers and was clean. But my two major issues are: 1: the property was listed as a 4 bedroom, but only had three. There was a sofa bed in the living room (which we had to use), but there were no sheets for the sofa bed, except a flat sheet and we found an extra blanket. 2:the second major issue was the gps directions. “Our daughter was getting married nearby and some of our family group stayed at this property. Our weekend included a 16 guest rehearsal dinner and a wedding flower arranging party. No one wanted to leave! I kept finding guests wandering the garden, visiting the horses, being entertained by the neighbor’s cow, goat and chickens or basking in the sun by the pond. It's tucked out in the country but an easy drive to Lancaster and local attractions. Perfect hot tub and firepit time! The owners were very communicative and responsive. Loved the wine and coffee!
