“The property was set in the woods. Lots of oak trees and squirrels. There are a couple cabins close but it was very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was enjoyed by my family. The cabin was decorated nice. The kitchen was well equipped to handle all the meals we prepared. The outside charcoal grill was sturdy and clean. Bring your own firewood and charcoal. “thank you for having us - we had a relaxing time. The games/puzzles and kitchen staples were so nice to have. Some feedback would be to update the exact pin location to make it easier to find in the dark. Also the neighbors Doberman ran infront of our car on the street and wouldn’t let us proceed on the route.. it was territorial and barking and the neighbor on the porch didn’t seem to care about getting the dog from blocking us. “Loved the porches and hot tub. Its only about 5-10 minutes from a handful of boat ramps so it was great for our fishing trip. It was also super quiet and you could see tons of stars. Very peaceful. The only downside is the roads in the neighborhood were a bit tight for having a 28ft pontoon in tow. If you're bringing a boat, be cautious and try to arrive before dark, but it is doable. The driveway makes a loop around the house so there was no need for backing in and out of the street.”

“The purpose of our trip was to bring family to a Morehead State football game. My nephew is on the team and we wanted to show some support for him and the team. He also wanted to take advantage of us being in the area, so we could visit, and cook for him. The property was exactly as advertised and Hershel is a fantastic host! The communication for check in and all of the amenities made it so easy for us to set this trip up for the family. One of the other great details…our host was very gracious……
