“The room was GORGEOUS but we would probably not come back because of the very noisy lobby which was connected to the restaurant. A loud party was literally ten feet from our room for several hours. Any other hotel would not have this happening. We wanted a quiet one night romantic getaway - yelling and partying outside our door, even in as early as 8:45pm, was not what we pictured. ”

“This was a special treat! A tiny town with a big heart. The service was excellent, food delicious and the room comfortable. Plus, a huge bathroom. There is also a game room, DVDs, free coffee and tea as well as snacks. Plus, a gourmet breakfast included A served next to a very unique fireplace. ”

“Wonder location and beautiful environment especially with all the cats ! Although I didn’t have enough time to spend outside to watch all of them play ! The owner went above and Bryon to make sure I was comfortable with my choice of room and had all my breakfast favorites ready for me because I had a very early departure. I definitely would love to return and stay longer! Thank you bill and Karen for caring! ”

“Had a wonderful stay. We did not use enough of the court woods' amenities, but lovely view and lovely owners. Wish we had more time to play tennis while there, I cant imagine a more scenic spot.”

“This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place. The town itself is a lovely reminder of what the Gold Country was like in the late 1800s with lots of old buildings along a main street. The hotel sits in the middle of the town and looks just like it must……
