“This treehouse was a really nice stay for our daughter and her new husband! They loved how cute it was and the location was really beautiful. When we originally booked the stay a while back, we did not know that the property was shared outside. I think the listing reflects that more now. “I’ve stayed in many short term rental properties and this was, hands down, one of the very best. The words “cute” and “cozy” best capture the essence, but the Captain’s Quarters is so much more. It’s small, but perfect for up to a couple (comfy queen bed) plus, perhaps, one sleeping on the couch. The host is amazingly kind and responsive to communications. “Really nice cottage. Great location. Quiet. Langley is fun. Would go go back, but: I booked with VRBO, then got handed off to Vacasa as the property manager. Way more hoops to go through than any other VRBO booking I've done. They were responsive, but demanding. Maybe good for the owner, a pain for me. Next time I book with VRBO and get handed to Vacasa I will cancel. The cottage is really nice. ”
