“Nice modern motel well located for AT hike”

“Room was very clean and updated. We enjoyed the deck, although it needs some updating due to broken boards. I was told the restaurant was a fine place to dine. Desk staff was helpful.”

“It was the sweetest Place ever. It was compact yet cute and efficient. Great shower and plenty of hot water. It was easy to check in and clean. There were all the amenities that we needed. The owner was very nice and even started a fire in the cute fire pit. We enjoyed the scenery and the pretty lake setting. Than-you for a pleasant experience in Mass. I”

“Wonderful location and hosts are amazing. Breakfast was great. Clean.”

“An absolutely perfect getaway spot! Beautiful rooms, great service, and an ideal location. Highly recommend and we will be going back.”

“Old building. Shower wasn’t cleaned. 1/4 roll of toilet paper. A bar handing above bureau to hang clothes. Paper thin walls. Why would you rate this excellent?”

“When I booked this earlier this year, I was under the impression that I would be IN the Red Lion Inn, not the other house down the block. So, this was a surprise to us. Unfortunately, the Steven House was very lack luster.”

“Lovely property.unique historic buildings and rooms with updated amenities! Quiet and peaceful beautiful dinner!”

“A bit old in the legs, but with a nice sense of New England country charm, and very kind and helpful staff!”

“We were in town for a show at Tanglewood in Lenox. Concert had been rescheduled with little notice; so it put us in a tight spot with no time to add time to being in the Berkshires. I just looked for an inexpensive overnight to just sleep before heading back home the following morning. I wasn't expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised. Our little room was clean and felt safe. We could open the windows! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We slept great. The location was……

“Nice location.”

“We were greeted by one of the staff with the aroma of fresh baked cookies, lovely! She showed us around the inn then to our room — “The Berkshire Room” which is in the main inn on the 2nd floor. The room was charming and comfortable with period details, a comfortable bed, small sitting area, tall ceiling, a small wall mounted TV, and a fireplace (nonfunctional) with mantle. The bathroom is nice, but the shower stall is tight. The inn is conveniently located just down the hill from Lenox……

“Hot tub in the cottage was wonderful. The provided guide was very comprehensive and we appreciated all the amenities available in the main and carriage house. ”

“Bathroom needed a lot of work. The microwave didn't work. Clothes hangers above the coffee pot. Cigarette burns on bed cover. Staff at check in was very pleasant. The room to me was overpriced. It will take a lot for me to book in the future.”

“Arrived at property around 9:00 PM, office door open, no one at front desk. Numerous attempts to contact front desk by calling, received crazy recording that said "unable to make outgoing calls" what does that mean???? Numerous attempts to contact property, same results. Attempting to get (2) night prepayment back. Awaiting response/determination. Had to book other accommodations. Terrible experience.”
