“The Oxford studios was very cute and modern. It felt clean. There were some dishes that weren’t washed and instant coffee sachets that we open and not removed. Other than that very nice. Straight forward to enter the property. Communication with hosts was timely and efficient .”

“A lovely 2 day break at the lakes, so peaceful and relaxing. Spa is great too and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time. Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. It would also be great if there was an on-site shop to buy any groceries/essentials to save having to drive elsewhere.”

“A girlfriend and I wanted a few days R and R. This stunning property and location fitted the bill. The beds were so comfortable! Felt cocooned for a few days. Just what we needed. Would recommend the property to anyone wanted to get away from it all. Only downside was the check in process as it was dark by 4pm. We struggled to find the property despite good directions and then found we could not see very well to open the key box. ”

“Thoughtfully appointed historical period home. Amazing fireplace which was all set for easy use. Home it situated within steps of an abundance of dining and shopping choices. Best of all there is a dedicated parking spot.”

“It was a perfect property for a large family getting together from different parts of the world. The house is spacious with many sleeping options and well equipped for large groups including cooking facilities. The garden is very pretty and well looked after. We had a great time. ”

“This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water……

“We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. ”
