Pros: Excellent views from the room, food was delicious, staff and service was Awesome! Everyone was super friendly. Loved the little cafe for treats throughout the day. Cons: Not enough lounge chairs for guests. If you don’t get to the pool by 8am, you don’t get a chair. Hot tubs were run down/falling apart and were luke warm. Rooms need a little updating. Need more entertainment options. Overall, I’d probably stay again, but only for a good deal.

When we arrived, we were offered a glass of champagne and check in was quick and easy! All of the rooms have beautiful ocean front views with large decks. We found that the resort offered a variety of menu options (rotating new selections every day). In the morning at the cafe/bakery, I always ordered a double cappuccino for a little extra, but overall found that the coffee was a little weak.For most of the meals, I often requested for a hot sauce, just to as spice up the meal - which thankfully they had :) I found the resort to be super clean and well maintained. The staff work hard. I only found that the pool service was a little lacking, and often you would need to wave down a server to get a drink or lunch by the pool. Definitely order the ceviche, and I say that the champagne and blended lime margaritas were their best drinks! The restaurant Lucianos offers a great dinner menu (steak and salmon were delicious), and the service was superb for an all-inclusive resort! But you need to reserve your table at 7am the day of, as they take no "day before reservations." After 8pm children are not allowed in the restaurant (which allows for a little bit of a quieter evening). I found that the Mexican themed dinner was so special, even the decor was cute! They offered a spread of food and everything was AMAZING! We found that there were so many options to choose from, and everything was served hot and fresh! All I would say is: -Bring your own pillows! -Bring Tums/Rolaids!

I was here with my daughter and her family. Two boys 3 & 5. This is definitely a nice resort for families with young children, seniors and couples. Food was varied and overall very good. The staff are all conscientious and very nice and help full. They all appreciate tips but it’s not particularly required. The beach and pool(s) were well maintained. It’s not a high priced adult only exclusive experience at all which is what the family was looking for on this trip.

They are building a new tower and I’m sure those areas will be nicer, but the current facilities are very dated and rundown. Chipped dishes, torn towels, tile coming off the pools, buttons off elevator. No way this is a 4 star facility. The servers/staff were all great, but the food was meh and some things simply wrent edible. I felt like we didn’t really have a good meal the whole week we were there.

This resort is 5 stars for it’s service and accommodations. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. All have balconies and ocean view. The staff is friendly and helpful. Mario was our butler and he was the best. He greeted us daily and asked if we needed anything. He gave us perfect directions to where we needed to go. Unfortunately our flight was delayed the first night so we didn’t get to enjoy an extra night with them but we made the best of it with the 3 nights we had. The food was delicious and creative, not your basic Mexican cuisine. Pool and jacuzzis were clean with breath taking views. I highly recommend this resort. I felt very happy and relaxed the whole visit there.

The pool area was amazing and the service by the friendly attentive staff outstanding. My husband bought me a 90 minute massage that was incredible. We had such a relaxing and fun holiday thanks to everyone at Sunset Plaza. Plus PV town is super fun, walkable and safe!
