"What can i say...its the Shangri La...world famous hotel. The hotel from checking in to the staff was first class. We stayed a few days for a double celebration....daughters birthday and our wedding anniversary. Told them in advance and they decorated our room for our daughter with balloons and a cake, and for anniversary they gave us towel swans. Lovely touch. They collected our luggage and took it up to our room after checking in. Seamless process. The check in desk was super helpful and quick to get is checked in. The hotel itself is stunning and only a short walk from the Pearl TV Tower. Would highly recommend if you want to visit that side of the river. Very affordable rates too over the weekend that we stayed. Asked the concierge for booking a larger car for our ride to the airport. He called up and sourced us a larger car. Cheaper than Didi too. So consider asking for their services if you have a lot of luggage and prams"

"Always my go to hotel when I’m back to Shanghai to attend a convention at SNIEC, as it’s quite close to the venue. Room is clean. Hotel is very helpful is receiving and keeping ok behalf for all the Taobao deliveries. Will always come back to stay again "

"Had a couple issues initially but was resolved swiftly and beyond expectations were met. This hotel is sooooo beautiful. I would go as far to say probably the best hotel I have ever stayed! Yes it’s not in the main centre with the attractions but the service but the metro is 5 minutes away and a choice of 3 lines will get you into the tourist areas. The aesthetics of this hotel makes it all worthwhile and at a fraction of what you would pay if staying in Jing’An or the financial centre. "

"Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort - warm, attentive, and always ready to assist. Sara, in particular, was incredibly accommodating. We had a room which took our breath away - floor-to-ceiling windows framing the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower, with the glittering skyline of Shanghai stretching out before us at night. Mornings were just as wonderful, with a sumptuous breakfast spread overlooking the Bund. The pool also had wonderful view but you will need a swimming hat to use it. The rooftop bar had amazing views but there’s a minimum spend. The location is also great. You can get to the Bund in around 15 minutes by Didi or taxi. There’s a metro station about 5 minutes away. Overall, every detail of our stay felt special, making it an unforgettable experience. We look forward to staying again next time we’re in Shanghai."
