“The property is in great condition and in a convenient location. The management did a nice job updating while retaining the vintage charm. 1950s motels are an endangered species as mass produced value chain hotels replace them. The outside retains the historic signage and neon accent lighting. Nice parking lot with many outlets for block heaters or EVs. Inside you are greeted with an immaculately cleaned room, comfortable bed and sofa, wet bar/kitchen area with mini fridge, microwave, and sink.……

“It was our first time in the UP and the lodge was perfect. My wife and I loved, and spent most of every evening in the lounge area playing the pinball and dart games. If we ever make it up that way again, we will definitely be staying at the lodge. Even the couple that we came to visit didn’t know it was here and are getting there family members to stay there when they visit. ”

“We had a wonderful stay for an ice fishing weekend. The house is beautiful with ample room for everyone. Large kitchen made meals easy and the huge dining room table was perfect to all gather around. There are fun games and puzzles available, ( challenge for the next guests…we did the NYC puzzle in 1 hour, 2 minutes). Our host, Miranda, communicated excellently! Top notch!”
