Our stay at the Sierra in was not what we expect or signed up for. But I'll start with the positives. The location was amazing, theres a Safeway down the street and it's only a mile away from town square. The staff member on the night we checked in was very nice. We were running a little late and he called us to make sure we were still coming (very kind on the phone) and made sure we were all set up to stay. The check in process was quick and easy and he pointed us to our parking spot. The hotel is actually very cute. It's a little run down, but that's what we weren't expecting much from the cheapest hotel we could find. Now for the more negative side of our stay. The pool was closed, which is understandable with it being fall, but we were still a bit disappointed as it wasn't noted on their website or on Expeidia. Our first night was great, no complaints other than noticing the coffee pot, which was stained and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. My morning shower was nerly impossible as the shower was full of spiders and the ceiling was caked in dead bugs. The next morning of our stay we noticed poop, literal poop on our holey bedding that we had just slept in. When we checked out I showed the lady at the front the pictures I had taken from our nasty room. She told me the poop on our bedding was "burn from the dryer". It was not. It was poop. She offered a $30 discount on my $200 stay. She was also extremely rude. 3/10, would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
