“It's an amazing place ”

“The second we opened our car door we knew this place was magical. Chef Graham who has the property is one incredible and talented man. If you're looking for beauty, peace and decompression then head their way...you won't go wrong.”

“Staying at this property is a unique adventure. After a few days we settled in, but there is more the hosts need to disclose before people book. "43 acre private property" does not suggest there are many houses next to one another, which there are. We thought we'd be all alone, and there was a house a few yards from us. You don't learn about the wildlife - stray dogs, roaming cattle, bear, etc. until you read the check-in book. They should disclose this before people book, not after you are……

“We came on a Sunday night, hard to find on app, and we were completely alone until after dark, as the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening. We loved the room-it could use a microwave especially as it is so isolated)and the views are fabulous”

“Amazing place to vacation if you want to get away from cities! There were some hiccups at check-in but the owner was very communicative and we were able to resolve the issue. The location is quite remote so you need to cook all your meals, but the kitchen is really well-equipped, and we had everything we needed. Be aware that the fireplace is the only heating source of the house. We visited in mid-October so it was not an issue, especially with the thick comforter and extra blankets they……

“This was our second stay. We appreciate the beauty and tranquil setting of the property and the unusual and original design of the house. Alicia quickly responded when we had a little difficulty finding the property, but this was only a small setback. The house is very well equipped for cooking as well as comfort. There is a well-stocked library with some heavy hitters above and beyond the usual John LeCarre novels found in most places we've stayed. We so much appreciated being able to bring……

“Abiqui, NM is a stunningly beautiful area - and the Viento del Rio is, too. Situated on the Chama River, the casita has just about everything one would need for a perfect getaway. Sitting by the fire - either inside or out - is the epitome of relaxing. And the stars at night - one almost feels like you can reach out and touch them. ”

“The view from this property outweighs any minor inconveniences. It is the most spectacular vista right outside your doorstep. The kitchen worked well, but I do suggest bringing some salt despite a full array of other spices and seasonings. The outdoor shower looked fun and adventurous; however, it did not work. So, the large bathtub had to do! Overall, this was an amazing stay. Highly recommend if you want to connect with nature and be in absolute solitude.”
