“Great weekend at this hotel. We had our dog with us. The staff are amazing. The hotel is amazing. The location is amazing. Just an absolutely fab place for a weekend away. ”
“One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot). It is incredibly beautiful, and the service is second to none. Quiet hotel, one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, the food was delicious - I really can't fault it. Worth every penny. The whole island is owned by the hotel, they have wild otters and seals - the spa was beautiful too. Highly recommend, I will be staying here again”
“I was really happy with everything about the hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms were beautifully updated and it was a short walk to the harbour and shops. Delicious breakfast too.”
“Clean room with everything we needed for our one night stay to break up our journey to aviemore. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the pub on the evening and a great breakfast the morning after. Would stay again! ”
“View is beautiful as hotel is on the water. Breakfast is interesting in that you order the night before, but it works well and is excellent. Staff was extremely friendly. Parking is available but limited, so if the hotel is full you will pay for parking unless you arrive between 6pm and 9pm.”
“Lovely , clean accomodation. Great little kitchen with spare supplies and honesty box. Room was cosy and bathroom immaculate. Really nothing bad to say , we had a great night .”
“Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen.
The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”
“Ensuite was across the hall and shared, toilet down the hall - not what I was expecting and floor a bit rickety underfoot. Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs. ”
