Stay far away from this property. Staff were rude from the moment we walked in. Prepaid for this room and were turned away because we didn’t have our passports but had our license and a Canadian resident card. We tried explaining this to front desk who went to the manager who then told her to say he was busy in Portuguese. Which they did not realize I spoke the language and could understand they were saying. They’re now disputing the credit card company stating we did not show up. When we called Expedia from the lobby they then called the manager who told them he’d call them back later!! Absolutely horrible customer service. We were later told by a guest on the beach that the hotel had actually been over booked so probably why they had no problem sending us away

Very satisfied for our honeymoon
We were at the Pestana for our 7 day honeymoon. And we were very pleasently surprised! At the check in we were told we were upgraded to a room with a seaview, which was so lovely. In our room we found a welcoming gift; a bottle of sparkling wine, macarons and a lovely greeting card wishing us a fantastic stay. We had a beautiful balcony on the 5th floor, and the room was pretty decorated with blue and white colors. Breakfast buffet had an inclusive spread with allergyfriendly options. Food and drinks in the bars/restaurants were quite expensive, and our duvet was troublesome, but service was magnificent and staff were very professional. Also the hotel pool, gardens, and the immediate access to the beach made it a very satisfying stay for us!

Check in was great, parking simple, and included breakfast had great options. For a 5 star hotel I had expected a bit more. The coffee was an instant coffee rather than fresh brewed, the facilites were ok but the location and pool were exactly what we wanted so we would stay again.

Top Anlage in schöner Umgebung; sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Das angebotene Essen in Buffetform war wirklich gut. Wenn ich etwas negativ und verbesserungswürdig zu diesem wirklich schönen Hotel anmerke darf, dann muss ich leider sagen, dass ich dort auf den schlechtesten Matratzen geschlafen habe die ich jemals in einem 5 Sterne Hotel erlebt habe. Auch das Badezimmer hat die besten Jahre schon hinter sich gebracht. Trotzdem hat uns die Zeit dort sehr gut gefallen.

Trevligt hotell på stranden
Mycket trevligt hotell på fin strand. Mycket bra frukost buffé. Fräsha rum. Trevlig pool med extra plus för att det finns många solstolar vid poolen. Bra att veta att solstolar på stranden ej tillhör hotellet, men kan hyra solstolar på stranden.

Food was beyond excellent. The hotel was beautiful. The room was clean. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. My only small disappointment was there was no hot tub. There was a cold tub outside of the gym. I am not sure if that was supposed to be a hot tub and it was just broken or not? Would definitely stay here again. The property is beautiful and well kept. Amazing sunsets every single night. Parking was very easy which was refreshing considering parking elsewhere in Portugal has been difficult. I also liked the location. It wasn't difficult to get to other parts of Algarve.

Déçue par les prestations mais cadre magnifique
Déçue. Ce n'était pas notre premier séjour dans cet hôtel et en ayant pourtant réservé exactement la même typologie de chambre nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une autre partie de l'hôtel qui ne nous a pas plu (lit inconfortable, clim en panne et surtout odeur nauséabonde). Nous avons demandé a changer de chambre pour avoir ce que nous avions réservé et finalement d'atterrir dans une vieille chambre (car hôtel full) avec les mêmes soucis (lits, odeur,...). En rentrant le soir notre chambre venait d'être "refaite"... lit à moitié fait, coussins par terre, Salle de bain non lavée.. Ni fait ni à faire ! Pour les petits déjeuner, c'est assez chaotique le buffet est riche et varié mais vous avez votre café au bout de 20mn donc autant dire quand tout est terminé. Autrement le cadre est magnifique en bord de mer avec une très belle plage et les gens sont charmants mais tellement loin d'un 5 étoiles !

For a 5 star hotel it lacks a few things, housekeeping in the room was a bit hit & miss, had to top up out tea/coffee tray ourselves, breakfast was very disorganised, tables were not set, waited ages for coffee then there were no cups, and areas around the hotel are very unsafe for the elderly and small children, lots of little hidden steps, witnessed two falls which could have potentially been quite bad, hotel needs an uplift , and I object to being charged a service fee every time I made a purchase from the bar, even for just water ! Although overall our stay was good, we would not return to this hotel

Very good overall experience. Really did go out of their way to make our group happy which wasn't easy. We did have a leaky room which we would have preferred to have sorted the first time but they moved us the 2nd time and again really treated us well.
