Pleasant waterside property
Very good location. Nice views over the water, walks round the town and harbour, and easy for scenic drives round the Llyn peninsular.
Clean and well appointed house, and the hosts could not have done any more to make the stay more enjoyable.

Location and view 'wow'
A compact and very nice property with spectacular views across the harbour estuary. All well equipped with modern amenities and comfortable. Very convenient for the Ffestiniog Railway with the station and ticket office just nearby. Our short stay in July was marred by unseasonal cool and wet weather, but otherwise we enjoyed our visit.

Quiet and Peaceful with Outstanding View
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Situated at the end of the wharf with uninterrupted views of the estuary and harbour to the front and stunning mountain views everywhere else. The property is bijoux, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy walks into the town with a wealth of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Lovely stay
The property was on a modern complex, compact but very well equipped near to town and with wonderful harbour views. The owner was very helpful with information and we found it an ideal centre for Portmerrion and some lovely beaches. Our little dog loved it too. Porthmadog provided the best ever fish and chips and we had an exceptional meal on my daughters birthday at Yr Hen Fecws restaurant.

Excellent Location
Near to town, which has many and varied places to eat. Excellent walks on the flat or hills. Get the bus to Criccieth and walk the coast back, about 7.5 miles, followed by an excellent lunch at Tafarn Pencei. Then watch the seabirds from your sofa. Perfect!

Short mid-week get away
From the off and throughout, communication with Michelle was very good. With in-depth description of facilities, amenities and places to eat in the surrounding area, suggestions for walks etc. which gave us confidence on the potential of our midweek break. The view from the picture window was a real gem. The property is very well placed to use as a base to explore North Wales.

Lovely short break in Porthmadog
The property is a lovely little find in Porthmadog. When you enter the house, the two bedrooms and bathroom are there on the ground floor but a short flight of stairs takes you to the living area which has the most wonderful view through a picture window of the estuary. We spent a lot of time just looking at this - tide in, tide out, swans, a heron who came each day and the way the view changed according to the weather.
The adjoining kitchen area is well equipped and every thing is spotlessly clean. The bathroom is quite small but functional.
The owner Michelle sent lots of information about the property and the surrounding area, recommending places to eat and to visit. The Ffestiniog Railway Station is literally yards away and worth booking. And we would definitely recommend the Good Mood restaurant at the yacht club across the river for a pizza!

A small piece of heaven
Small yet practical place with a wonderful view that fascinated us for hours. It's all about the location. Michelle was wonderful to deal with.
Only minus for us were the beds and it not being spotless when looking above and below eye-level.

Excellent experience from beginning to end.
As a former owner of a VRBO property, I value communication as much as I value the property itself. The owners were responsive, attentive and thorough from the very beginning. The property is delightful and the view and location simply can't be beat! I have nothing but praise. Thanks for a magical and easy vacation.

Midweek Early Autumn stay
The first thing that catches your attention when you enter the apartment is the stunning "picture view" of the estuary from the living room.
The flat is clean & tastefully decorated.
A good base for exploring the region & of course the Steam Train is really close.
Michele gave some good advice on where to go etc in her emails & in the booklet in the flat.
A really relaxing midweek break for my wife and myself

The sign on the door announces this is the ‘Happy Place’ - and it truly is! Bright and airy, beautifully clean, this apartment has stunning estuary views and lifts the spirits in any weather. The Ffestiniog steam railway is on the door step and an easy stroll round to Borth-y Gest to lunch was great to do. Also recommend the ‘Snowdon Sherpa’ buses (details online) for easy transport around Snowdonia if, like us, you left the car at home. The estuary is a haven for water fowl - we counted over 20 little egrets one evening!
