“My Niece and I stayed at the Blue Birdhouse for her Spring Break and to see if we wanted to visit this area in the summertime, as we had never been there. The Owner of this house was gracious and kind and very responsive to any questions or requests. We also took our dogs with us and they had a blast in the fenced back yard! Every time we went to look somewhere up to visit, it seemed like everywhere was between 5 - 10 minutes away! Location is absolutely awesome and close to virtually……

“This rental is right by Indiana Dunes and in a nice neighborhood. Main bed was comfortable and we slept well. The shower needs repaired. There was not a cloth to wash dishes with. The skillet in the cabinet still had food in it. We did walk around the block to get Uno Pizza which is in a speakeasy setting. Nice place. It was early for swimming but we did take a dip. Don let us stay late to enjoy the sun. The pool is well cared for. Overall a good rental.”

“This is a very cute little cottage! Nice and cozy and has everything you need! It is right off of the highway so really convenient to get to. There is a train that goes by out front but, the house is surrounded with beautiful landscaping and plants and it’s like you’re in your own little world inside the home and out in the back of the house. The back has a small little pond with a water fountain, a nice deck and screened in porch that overlooks the pretty garden/patio area with a fire pit,……

“We just spent our 4th summer visit to this great New Buffalo house. Everything was clean and perfect for our family. The pool and hot tub is where we spent most of our time, and we had such a fun week. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your house!”

“We just needed one night to recover from our day at Indiana Dunes before we headed out of town. It was a great spot. The decor is so cute. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked just fine. We had a little trouble with the key code on the door when we checked in, but the host was VERY responsive and quick. Hardly a moment of delay accessing the property.”

“My mom, who is 91, along with my two neices and their mother, take an annual girl's trip. We rypically get a hotel, but this year we changed it up for a beachy vibe. The house is gorgeous and very comfortable. The neighborhood of mostly vacation rentals was quiet and low key. The property manager was super responsive to our needs and friendly. The golf cart was a big hit! It was such fun driving around the little neighborhood and to the beach. We really enjoyed our time at the Vahalla.”

Location is very convenient for the Dunes, beaches, and good restaurants. If we’re ever up this way again we’ll definitely want to stay here 😊👍.”

“The only issue we had was the surprise of finding out when we got there that we had to pay $15 a person for a wristband to use the amenities, and $5 to park one vehicle in front of the three bedroom house and an additional $10-$15 per other vehicle. The amenities cost were not optional, if you stay here you have to purchase the wristbands for everyone staying.”
