“We loved our four night stay. Excellent host, great breakfast, hot tub, and poorl and located in the middle of the vineyards. Full kitchen is included. Bicycles available. The rooms are large airy and bright with views of the garden and mountains, flowers and vineyards. One of the best highlights of our trip to New Zealand”

Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. “This artfully designed cottage is perfect for two couples with two en-suite bedrooms both with mountain and sound views. The property and the cottage were meticulously maintained and located a short 5-10 minute walk to the charming town of Havelock. The owners were very welcoming and kind we cannot wait to return to this stunning Marlborough Sound cottage! ”

“Blue cod off jetty, shark and stingray cruising by. Amazing forest walks. Bathroom was not so clean and bbq so dirty it caught fire but we cleaned it and carried on. It was well worth it!!!”

“The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. It requires a little bit of off grid savvy but nothing even this 60 year old New Yorker couldn’t learn in seconds. The view is absolutely stunning, the house is quite comfortable. Very comfortable beds, spotless, shower, washing machine, beautiful, wounding, deck, Thoughtful touches as well, kitchen with small walkin pantry was clean and well-equipped. Surrounded by lush,……

“We had a lovely overnight stay at the property which gave us an opportunity to explore Picton which is well worth taking the time to do before crossing to the North Island. ”

“The unit was a great layout, good location, had everything we needed. However unfortunately there was a strong musty smell when we first entered & lingered the whole time. Whenever the place was closed up for a few hours, when we re-entered it was really strong again. Quite disappointing ”

“Over all good bar the sleeping arrangements and the odd bath room set up which could not be locked for privacy. Not suitable for easy access with 6 metre boat in tow very tricky driveway and would be near impossible without a 4 drive vehicle.”
