Our Fourth Vacation at Frank's Place, Lucky Us!
This was our fourth time staying at Frank's Place. We were lucky to be there during one of the big storms. It was the perfect place to be because of the warmth, coziness, and beautiful scenery. The owners go out of their way to make your stay five stars. We will be back next year.

Beautiful spacious house with easy access to Pt Reyes
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Frank’s Place. The house is spacious and airy, with beautiful views of Tomales Bay from 2 different decks. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and the hot tub was a wonderful plus. Easy access to Pt Reyes Station and Pt Reyes National Seashore. This was my 4th stay at Frank’s Place and I hope to go back again and again!

Home Away From Home?

wonderful respite!
Frank's Place is wonderful. Multiple decks where you can relax and watch birds and glimpse the ocean. Private, with trees all around and stocked with everything we needed. The place is not accessible; a multi level house. Highly recommend!

Home away from home
We’ve been vacationing in Inverness over the past 18 years. Frank’s Place is our go to place to stay and our family has come to think of it as our home away from home. So many great memories made over the years. It’s a lovely home and I’m amazed at its versatility. It very comfortably accommodates everyone from as young as toddlers to seniors. The home has a fair amount of stairs, so maybe not suited for those for mobility challenges, but our 83 year old grandpa managed just fine. We will continue to come to Frank’s Place and are so grateful to Scott for sharing his slice of heaven.

Perfect for a a weekend retreat
We came out to Point Reyes for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. Frank's Place feels like a true retreat -- it's quiet and isolated, comfortable to relax indoors, and incredible views outdoors. The fireplace and the hot tub were real perks -- we took advantage of both! The beds were all very comfortable and the water in the showers is very hot. The rental is close to everything in the Point Reyes area (though heads up that once you get off the main road and head up to the rental, the road is VERY steep and windy! Follow the directions that come with the rental closely since GPS can cut out.) Overall, we loved our stay and highly recommend Frank's Place!

Beautiful retreat surrounded by nature
Frank's Place is the perfect place to stay if you want a home base for Point Reyes area adventures or if you just want a quiet getaway. We had big hiking plans that were thwarted by rain, but we didn't mind too much because the house was so inviting and cozy. Beautiful and comfortable retro furnishings, a roaring fire, even listening to birds and taking in the nature all around from a warm hot tub in the rain. The owners and innkeeper were kind and available if we needed anything, but we were all set. The house was well-stocked with pantry essentials, books, DVDs, games. and the owners provided detailed instructions about how everything worked. We can't wait to visit again.

Large secluded home
Love Frankes place. The good- Large roomy home. Nice decks with bbq. Great selection of kitchen appliances and gadgets. Great master bed, very comfortable! Very secluded location, could not see another home. Huge selection of book and cds , probably over 100 of each! The not so good- Several windows that either have moisture between panes or a heavy film on the outside. Swivel chairs in living room have dirty/ greasy stains on the arms. Wouldn’t sit in them, need to be cleaned or replace. Sun shade above kitchen table is rotted from exposure to sun. Coming apart in places. The Terra cotta tile in the kitchen needs a good cleaning. Walked through the kitchen several times while preparing and eating dinner while wearing white socks. Sock bottoms had an incredible amount of nasty grime on them Actually threw socks away and put shoes on. Frank’s is a great place that is due for some maintenance. All that being said we would probably return in hopes of some maintenance being done.

From the welcoming wood, to the beautiful views, to the fabulous hot tub, this is the ideal getaway for our annual men’s group retreat. Our only request is to make the bed in upstairs office more comfortable and with drawers for clothes in that room, too.

Heavenly
Frank's place was the perfect spot for 3 generations to be together...from the beautiful surroundings, proximity to point reyes seashore, to the comfortable accommodations, and wealth of books and games ( not to mention the hot tub), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay...the only thing that would have made it even better, would have been a few less twists and turns up the road!!! Thanks so much for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Relaxing Point Reyes Getaway Overlooking Tomales Bay
“Frank’s Place” was a great retreat high above Tomales Bay. Kitchen was well equipped and the fireplace and hot tub were a plus. Kitsy, the Innkeeper, was extremely welcoming and accommodating (very much appreciated). A great location for exploring the Point Reyes National Seashore.
