Our choice came down to the bedspread pattern. 😉 Not a fancy property but all that we needed was provided. Check in was quick and courteous. Would definitely recommend. ”

“The property is a 1842 inn. The welcoming lobby with a fireplace and bar (no service) set up is a great place to sit so you are not locked in the room, especially in the cold weather. We had the inn to ourselves as it was off season. (Two colleagues attending a conference in a closeby town) I am sure it is lovely in the summer with several places to sit and enjoy the outside as well as a short walk to the beautiful shore of Lake Huron! The rooms are original to the property, therefore,……

They kindly accommodated our request to bring dinner in last night and set a lovely table in the dining room for that as well as for the delicious breakfast that was served this morning. The food was outstanding! This is a warm and elegant home. Our room was well appointed, the bed and bedding very comfortable and again every need anticipated and provided for. ……
