Peaceful Loon Lake in Plymouth, NH is a hidden gem and peaceful private body of water with no public access. While located on a secluded, private dirt road, the house is within 10 minutes to downtown Plymouth NH where you will find many charming shops and restaurants and even Tenney Ski Mountain!

We are an easy drive to Lincoln's spectacular Loon Mountain, Franconia Notch's Cannon Mountain, and Waterville Valley Estates plus many other attractions including Ice Castles, Polar Caves, Franconia Notch Park and Flume Gorge. At the Lookout, you'll have easy access to the entire New Hampshire lakes region and the White Mountains. There is no better place to be in New England to call your home base for the area's limitless activities.

Drive only a few minutes to many grocery stores and pubs including the newly renovated Tap Room at The Last Chair Brewery, and plenty of restaurants including our favorites The Common Man, Grotto Italian Restaurant, Beidermans Deli, YAMAS Greek eatery, The Lucky Dog and Italian Farmhouse.

We are close to wedding venues The Barn on Pemi, Newfound Lake Inn, and the Common Man Inn and Spa, and down the road from the music and performing arts venue the Flying Monkey.

Skiers:
Tenney Mountain is OPEN and now making snow for all of their trails this season. They also offers a limited number of ski rentals daily (new this year).
Children under 5 years old ski free. Adults seeking a little apres ski or a cozy meal will find the Back Country Bar and Grill is the perfect slopeside spot. Tenney also offers excellent tubing with a fun rope tow to the top alongside one of the best bunny hills in the area. Loon, Waterville, and Cannon Mountain are close by among others! ***Mountain conditions, offerings, and hours can change daily so it's always best to check with any mountain directly***

The Ice Castles in nearby Lincoln are a MUST see this winter for all ages and tickets are now on sale, but will sell out daily so get yours now! Contact Ice Castles directly for hours and tickets.

No need to over pack the car....while off the beaten path we are a few minutes from a Walmart Supercenter, Hannaford Grocery store, and Market Basket, in sales tax free New Hampshire. DoorDash friendly house if you want to order in!

Dogs are WELCOME to join you at the Lookout! We charge a flat rate of $100 with a 2 dog maximum per stay. Please indicate whether you are bringing a pet when making your reservation.

Our minimum length of stay varies seasonally. We offer length of stay discounts (2+ days) that will automatically apply to your reservation when booking. We keep our calendar up to date in real time.

Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am to allow sufficient time for our spectacular cleaning crew between guests. We may be able to be more flexible with this during winter weekend bookings but typically are not able in the summer months as we have mostly same day turnovers.

We are located in Plymouth, NH and the easiest way to get here is driving via I-93.

We recommend using Uber or Lyft if you require transportation to the property or into the downtown area.
