“We stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful apartment. It has the perfect location in a nice, quiet residential area that is walking distance to shops/dining and only a few steps to the beach! Host Steven was welcoming and super nice. The apartment was very spacious with great linens/bedding, a nice bathroom and the best shower! We had a nice seating area as well as a small balcony. “Our stay at this hotel began promisingly with a comfortable room, friendly staff, and good food. However, this positive experience took a sharp turn when we returned to find our room door wide open, with all our valuables—electronics, passports, clothing—exposed to anyone who walked by. Given that our room was less than 10 feet from an occupied room and only 50 feet from a restaurant open to the public, this situation was both unsettling and unacceptable.

“The place is peaceful and quiet with a serene yard/pool area. The rooms are lovely with seating area and private patio. It is about a mile outside of "town" but feels suburban.
I think it's great for a couple or family with a car. As a solo traveler I didn't find it perfect as I was reliable on taxis but that is unique to my needs. The place is lovely.”

Standard room was nicely decorated, neat and functional but it was very very tiny with no space to move by the bed and no space for a chair and the patio was internal with no view. “I was travelling with my colleague on a work related visit to a family in Plett. We travelled 800km to Plett, only to be told by the lodge that our bookings were cancelled the morning of the check-in day. As to why the booking was cancelled, we were told that it is because my card payment was declined. This was nonsense as this payment was made more than a month before the check-in day and there was not such communication. I even checked with my bank and my money was still out of my bank……
