「Nice 1 bedroom apartment with a wood stove. The wood stove really warmed up the space nicely with little effort. Owner left a pizza and some eggs in the fridge. Nice if you get in late and don’t have time for grocery shopping. 」

「My sister and I stayed at the Bird's Nest in late Sept. 2024. It was fabulous. Very quiet and comfortable. We loved the deck for watching the sunrise/sunset with a glass of wine. Very quiet. The kitchen was so well stocked. The location couldn't have been better for visiting Mesa Verde. Jeff and his wife were wonderful hosts - answered questions quickly and were available for restaurant recommendations :)」

Make Sure you write down the 6 digit code from the owner as VRBO sent an incorrect 4 digit code and you’ll have to drive half way to Cortez to get a signal. Interior really needs an update We splurged 2 on 4 new wine glasses at the thrift store. Rustic ands bit messy. Good for dogs.」

「Exactly what we were looking for—space AWAY from busy life, while we explored SW Colorado. Incredible views during the day, gorgeous sunrises/sunsets, and really dark night skies for excellent stargazing. As far as “tiny homes” go, this one certainly utilizes space efficiently! Probably the most comfortable mattress I’ve slept on in a short-term rental property! Gina was friendly and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Probably worth noting, for any guests not accustomed to...

「room was on the small side,nowhere to hang clothes but only stayed for 1 night so not a big problem,room was clean and modern,was placed round the back which looked out onto a bit of a rough area but overall,an ok stay」
