Ice-cream staff are extremely rude. Otherwise good entertainment, clean rooms. Just okay food. I have been to cancun multiple times but haven't encountered similar attitude from their staff. Many other luxury resorts that provide better service

Nothing special. Resort was severely overcrowded. Because of that, food was no good unless you were lucky enough to get a reservation at an a la carte restaurant. Good luck with that unless you're a member. Breakfast was especially chaotic and disappointing. Our son picked up whatever virus/food borne illness was going around. Multiple staff walked by our vomiting kid as we tried to help him without a second glance. Finally one kind waiter noticed us, brought cold towels and got the right people's attention. The resort paid for our doctor visit, but never admitted to knowing about an outbreak (which we found out about the next day from coming across many more sick kids). "$300 Resort Credit" is a coupon book of $20 here and there that adds up to 300. We didn't use a single one. Staff snickered when we asked if there were any local concerns about cartel violence in relation to our gov't briefly putting Cancun under Shelter in Place orders. Pools were nice and water slides were lots of fun. This place could be really nice if it weren't so crowded and had a more engaging staff.

Travelling with families and it was hard to get the room next to each other. Even more it was hard to explain that the families were travelling with infants and needed to stay closer, despite of that explanation the check in assistant was not helping with this.

EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! From the second we arrived, had no pickup which was booked in advance, staff was mostly unpleasant and they try to sell you something everywhere you turn. Hands were out everywhere!!! We upgraded for NO reason!! BUT, the worst part was…They KNEW there was an airborne virus!!!! We got TERRIBLY SICK!!!!! Come to find out, they were trying to get people to sign non disclosures. Also, Expedia gave me no access to my trip and communication was awful. We didn’t get the room we wanted due to this. I called and was told the problem would be fixed and everyone conveniently brushed me off to the hotel who conveniently disconnected. Biggest waste of a LOT of money!!! Thanks for NOTHING!!!

We went to Royalton Splash as a group of six, along with four other friends. Every single one of us experienced vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. The hygiene conditions were very concerning and unacceptable.

Everything this was the worse hotel i ever stayed in food was garbage service was the worse i would never go there again my flight got cancelled and i left to a different hotel to not even stay another night. I traveled with my 4 month old and 5 year old please if you have children avoid staying at this hotel
Wish i would’ve thought of taking more pictures the bacon undercooked and all the food was dry on my sons birthday he threw up 5 times from being in the pool after we left we read an article that a bunch of canadians were sick and throwing up

The staff was courteous and made my family feel safe while on the resort. Front desk staff was professional. My child even lost her handbag and it was returned to lost and found. I will definitely return for a stay.

For a family of 8 with kids, we requested 1 month ahead for room next two each other when still available, and agreed to pay extra, it was t fulfilled when we checked in. Expedia advertised for 300 room credit, but never explained it was coupon book and need to get it from hotel concierge. So hotel dinner read can’t be applied. We had to pay extra. The amenities and food were good. But the travel agency and hotel are not in sync, we felt like just lure you with higher reviews, but worst experience we had compared to other times.

Ok so I want to say first that as a whole we had an amazing time. The pros of the hotel were: beautiful rooms, beautiful views, wonderful staff, they fixed any issues that came up, the food was just okay, so much to do for kids and adults alike, drinks were very good, beds were extremely comfortable, the lazy river was fun, and the pool was clean at all times. Now for the cons: they seemed to run out of things very quickly for example cheese and orange juice, there was an obvious sewer smell at times, they say you dont need reservations but you do for everything but the buffet, they will upcharge you on everything for example a pool bed for the day was 100, and the food was just okay I have definitely had better at other resorts but the drinks made up for it as did the staff. Would I go back yes the trip as a whole was amazing.

Our group of 4, all took turns being deathly ill staying at this resort. We all got food poisoning and spent most of our stay in our room throwing up and having diarrhea. Our trip was completely ruined from this, we were all very upset about it after spending an insane amount of money for such a big resort. We will not be back. We had the worst trip of our lives here.

Long lines with mediocre food. Frustrating that in order to reserve a place at restaurants, it was necessary to wake up at midnight. Would not recommend resort to others.
