The resort is quite beautiful, and they did a very good job in keeping everything neat and tidy. The rooms were cleaned early. The gym was excellent. Poolside service was very good. The extra activities for kids of all ages were fantastic. I have two complaints one that despite constant attention the beach was never cleared of seaweed mainly because they had the most ineffective means of doing so it cost a lot of noise and nasty smoke for anybody sitting on the beach. My other complaint is check-in was confusing and irritating. Because we booked through Expedia they made us leave the lobby with our luggage and drag it halfway across the resort to check in in another room in order to give us a 30 minute spiel on buying timeshare. The free upgrade to an Oceanside room was nice, but probably not worth the hassle going through the sales pitch the moment we walked onto resort property. Unlike other resorts that we’ve stayed in in Cancun this one did not give us any type of orientation when we first got there and basically one of us to cart our own luggage halfway back across the property to find our room ourselves until we insisted that someone take us over there. I will say, though the food was outstanding best I’ve had at an all-inclusive in Mexico. Now that I know what check-in is like I think I could probably avoid it by telling them that we weren’t interested upfront and we may end up coming back to this resort at another time.

La comida de los restaurantes de especialidades era deliciosa, buen café y postres. Los shows entretenidos me gustaría más variedad en fin de semana. Las albercas y amenidades genial. Sugiero mejor limpieza en los edificios y habitaciones pues en el área general era buena. Se iba demasiado la luz durante la estancia, sugiero usar aromas en las habitaciones.

Was such an incredible experience for my family and to my two kids. They could enjoy the waterpark during the day and during the night with different entertainment activities. The food was always good and we’ve seen the common areas being cleaned all the time by the staff. Not a single thing was broken that they weren’t fixing right away. I am a very allergic person, and I noticed that my bedroom was very, very clean. Every single day I came back from the pool with my bed organized, new towels and a clean room (thank you Alejandra!!!!)
The staff was in such a good mood every single time, asking if we needed anything, ready to serve us or by the pool or in the restaurant’s area. They treated so well that we felt welcome!
We left the hotel making plans to come back in the end of the year again!!!!! Thank you so much Royalton Splash Cancun!!!

Staff were incredible. Very accommodating. Resort was very clean. Unfortunately, the beach was full of seaweed. They did their best to try to clean it up daily. Might’ve just been the time of year. This was not the hotel’s fault as they were doing their best. It was just nature.

Nice resort, newly built and nice design. Rooms were nice, views were beautiful, restaurants were all good aside from Hunters and Rio. The staff were extremely attentive, the service was excellent.
The beach was very poor, it is located next to mangroves so it smelled bad and the water was dark brown and filled with seaweed all week. From discussions with locals, the beach is always like that which is unfortunate. The beach was also closed one day due to crocodiles that inhabit the area. More lunch options would have been nice, the food trucks are a good idea but there were consistently long lineups.

I had a fantastic experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming, clean, and well-organized. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which really set the tone for the rest of my visit.
A special thank you to Jayco who was incredibly helpful and professional throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, always with a friendly attitude and genuine willingness to assist. Their customer service truly stood out and made a big difference in my overall experience. Luz was truly my angle on earth, she made sure my son had the most beautiful birthday surprise he could have ever hoped for.
The hotel itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the future!

Not enough things to do at night. Everything poolside closed at 5pm. Buffet food was absolutely horrible. Buffet staff did not want to get drinks or anything else. If u don’t catch breakfast none of the food places open till noon. It’s either swim all day or nothing else. Won’t book with them again. Not to mention they are constantly trying to sell u stuff or asking you to do surveys-very annoying!
