“If you find yourself needing to be in Plains, MT this is a good central location, perfect space for a couple and has a good supply of necessary items. I had no reason to contact the owner so can't talk about communication. Comfortable enough, although I will say if you have back issues, this might not be the place for you if you're staying longer than a night.”

“First, the negatives: * No air conditioner. The listing was accurate, but I didn't notice the missing A/C until a couple weeks before the trip. Wouldn't have been a problem except we stayed in the 105 degree heat wave of 2024. * There is not a bridge near the house: Its a 35 minutes to Plains, and an hour to Thompson Falls. * Kitchen is small and has no dishwasher. The positives: * No internet. Like other reviews, I see this as a positive. We could get limited cell (AT&T) from the porch and……
