We arrived in the middle of the night with plans to leave early in the morning. No one was around except the very pleasant woman checking us in. This is a charming place with a bed & breakfast type feel. The bathroom / shower was modern. We were delighted to receive our pre-ordered bagged breakfast to go (croissant sandwiches) when we checked out.

Stayed here before and once again we are extremely pleased with the Priory! Friendly and professional staff, lovely and pristine rooms, very comfortable bed and pillows, and the breakfast is good too! They also have a free shuttle service, which is so convenient! Such a unique place to stay! It’s a former monastery and much of the architecture and decor is preserved. It’s across from a busy area that was kind of noisy but we had a room on the ground floor facing the street. Very comfortable for our 1 night stay!

Beautiful historic, very clean and well cared for. Best staff, impeccable service. The excellence and charm of the property makes up for the location - a more secluded street that feels a bit unsafe. We had no issues. Cars should be parked in the hotel’s lot. They have surveillance over their lots. The receptionist and staff were A and ensured we had a wonderful stay.

The Priory is absolutely beautiful and has a caring, consistent staff. It is very comforting to return to a hotel and have the same staff greet me, and remember me. The hotel is very clean, warm and inviting. The Monk's Bar in the hotel has delicious drinks and food, and is staffed by a great bartender who knows his business and knows the area. It's a lovely spot to spend the evening.

Can’t wait to stay here again!
We loved this hotel. It has great history and the bar is a must for a night cap! It’s the smallest bar in Pittsburgh. We almost didn’t stay here because of some reviews that mentioned the parking being a concern. However, we parked in the lot and had no issues. It was directly across the street and we were one of two cars in it for the evening. The breakfast was also delicious and complimentary! We got egg sandwiches with ham and cheese as well as fruit and a muffin. This hotel is also about a 5 min walk from a busy street with cute restaurants and stores! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Nice building and aesthetic, but the breakfast and parking need serious attention. A paper bag with bottled juice and squishy items to eat in the room isn’t expected; gravel parking lots are not appropriate for luggage, they should be paved. Otherwise, a clean property with pleasant decor.
