“The house was very nice, roomy, and well maintained. The road leading in is narrow (which is expected for mountain roads), but the drive had plenty of parking. We throughly enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. Even though the trail head is farther than advertised (13 miles instead of 3 miles), the drive via SxS was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to see y’all again. ”

“My 3 children (ages 7,9 & 1) and myself met our friends (adult & children ages 6, 9) halfway between each others homes in NC and Pittsburgh, PA. I found this listing and thought the kids would enjoy visiting such a beautiful, old cabin for a new experience. The cabin was warm and cozy with so much character, we spent plenty of time enjoying and discussing the art on the walls and the artifacts on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space and all amenities needed……

“I would rate our stay as top notch.The home was in a convenient place in town.Once we entered the home with an easy to understand key pad the home was clean and exactly as pictured and described online. We did run into a small issue that as soon as the owner of the home was contacted, he handled with care and concern! The ease and comfort of the house absolutely added to our overall experience and we were thrilled to have stayed! We had a great time.”
